3.37

師齋次，問僧：「爾道鉢盂裏多少飯？」無對。代云：「野。」又云：「飽便休。」又云：「一杓兩杓。」

During the midday meal, the Master asked a monk, "Tell me, how much rice is in the alms bowl?"
There was no reply.
Answering on their behalf, [the Master] said, "Rustic."
He also said, "When full, then stop."
He also said, "One ladle, two ladles."
