一日雨下，天性上座謂師云：「好雨。」師云：「好在甚麼處？」天性無語。師云：「某甲却道得。」天性云：「好在甚麼處？」師指雨，天性又無語。師云：「何得大智而默？」

One day rain fell. Sthavira Tianxing said to the Master: "Good rain." The Master said: "Where is it good?" Tianxing had nothing to say. The Master said: "I can speak of it." Tianxing said: "Where is it good?" The Master pointed at the rain. Tianxing again had nothing to say. The Master said: "Why possess great wisdom yet remain silent?"
