師因一梵僧來參，師於地上畫半月相，僧近前添作圓相，似脚抹却。師展兩手，僧拂袖便出。

Because an Indian monk came to call upon him, the Master drew a half-moon figure on the ground. The monk stepped forward, added to it to make a full circular figure, and wiped it away with his foot. The Master spread both hands; the monk brushed his sleeves and walked right out.
