江南國主，重師之道，迎住報恩禪院，署淨慧禪師，僧問：「鐘洪纔擊，大眾雲臻，請師如是。」師云：「大眾會，何似汝會？」

The ruler of Jiangnan esteemed the Master's Way, welcomed him to abide at Bao'en Chan Monastery, and bestowed the title Chan Master Jinghui. A monk asked, "The great bell has just been struck, and the great assembly has gathered like clouds; we request the Master [to expound] just so." The Master said, "How can the great assembly's understanding compare to your understanding?"
