1.94

舉：「障蔽魔王，領諸法眷屬，一千年隨金剛齊菩薩，覓起處不得。忽因一日得見，乃問云：『汝當依何住？我一千年覓汝起處不得。』菩薩云：『我不依有住而住，無住而住，如是而住。』」師云：「障蔽魔王不見金剛齊即從，只如金剛齊還見障蔽魔王麼？」

[The Master] cited: "The Demon King Obstruction, leading all his retinues of phenomena, followed Bodhisattva Vajrasamāna for a thousand years without being able to find where he arose from. Suddenly one day he caught sight of him and asked, 'Where do you abide? For a thousand years I could not find where you arose from.' The Bodhisattva said, 'I do not abide by relying on abiding, nor do I abide in non-abiding; thus do I abide.'" The Master said, "Let it be that the Demon King Obstruction did not see Vajrasamāna; but did Vajrasamāna see the Demon King Obstruction?"
