師云：「有問底麼？有即快問，道場難遇。雖然，無一法與人，有疑者須決擇。山僧幸因行化，輒到郡城，既宣揚於正法，又須普給於人天，直截根源，對面分付，還有收得麼？收得即隨機利物。古人云：『多言復多語，由來返相誤。』久立珍重。」

The Master said: "Is there anyone who asks? If there is, ask quickly; a bodhimanda is hard to encounter. Even so, not a single dharma is given to people; those with doubts must resolve them. This mountain monk, fortunately on account of teaching tours, abruptly arrived at this commandery city; having proclaimed the correct Dharma, I must also bestow it universally upon humans and devas, directly cutting to the root source, entrusting it face to face. Is there anyone who receives it? If you receive it, then accord with capacities to benefit beings. An ancient said: 'Many words and much speech / in the end only mislead one another.' Having stood long, take care of yourselves."
