1.61

師云：「明知無一物，何用更推求，當處不強名，鋒鋩甚處有。直下攬得，猶是殘弓折箭，堪作什麼用，擬擬躊蹰，陣場掃帚。」以拄杖一時攂下。

The Master said, "Clearly knowing that not a single thing exists, what use is further investigation? Right here, do not force a name on it—where could a sharp edge be found? If you take hold of it directly, it is still a broken bow and snapped arrow—what use can it serve? Hesitating and deliberating, it is just a broom on the battlefield." With his staff he drove them all down at once.
