修山主悟空法眼，行脚到地藏，向火舉話次，地藏入來，乃問：「山河大地，與上座自己，是同是別？」修云：「不別。」藏竪起兩指出去（云云）。

Master of the Mountain Xiu attained awakening under Fayan. Traveling on foot, he arrived at Dizang. While warming by the fire and discussing teachings, Dizang came in and asked: "Are the mountains, rivers, and the great earth identical to or distinct from the Elder yourself?" Xiu said: "Not distinct." Dizang held up two fingers and walked out (and so forth).
