廬嶽宗師接上機，斬蛇特地施慈悲，高茅座主驚忙怕，却道麁心錯是非。

The ancestral master of Mount Lu receives those of superior capacity;
In cutting the snake, he specially displayed compassion.
The lecturer on the high rushes became alarmed and fearful,
Yet said that with a coarse mind, he mistook right for wrong.
