雪峯拋束示傍僧，僧取遭師脚一登，懵懂不靈知恰好，長生却解揥籠燈。

Xuefeng threw down the bundle to show the nearby monk;
As the monk picked it up, he met with the master's trampling foot.
Ignorant and uninspired, one knows what is 'just right';
Changsheng, however, knows how to trim the covered lantern.
