「東印土國王，請般若多羅齋，王問：『諸人盡轉經，師為什麼不轉？』師曰：『貧道出息不隨眾緣，入息不居蘊界，常轉如是經，百千萬億卷，非但一卷兩卷。』」代云：「却勞尊者心力。」

"The king of Eastern India invited Prajñātāra to a vegetarian feast. The king asked: 'All the others are reciting the sūtras; why do you, master, not recite them?' The master said: 'When this poor monk breathes out, I do not follow myriad conditions; when I breathe in, I do not dwell in the aggregates and realms. I constantly recite such a sūtra of hundreds of thousands of myriads of koṭis of fascicles, not just one or two fascicles.'" Replacing [the original words], he said: "I have troubled the venerable one to exert mental effort."
