「文殊令善財云：『不是藥者，採一莖來。』却來白云：『無有不是藥者。』云：『是藥者採將來。』童子隨手取一枝草與文殊，殊接得呈大眾曰：『亦能殺人，亦能活人。』」代云：「秤子在手頭。」

"Mañjuśrī instructed Sudhana, saying, 'Bring me a stalk that is not medicine.' [Sudhana] returned and reported, 'There is nothing that is not medicine.' [Mañjuśrī] said, 'Bring me what is medicine.' The boy reached out, picked a blade of grass, and gave it to Mañjuśrī. Mañjuśrī took it, displayed it to the assembly, and said, 'It can kill people, and it can also bring people to life.'" Replacing [the original words], he said, "The scale is in hand."
