「跋陀三藏問生法師：『如何是色空義？』生法師云：『眾微聚為色，眾微無自性為空。』又問：『眾微未聚時，喚作什麼？』」代云：「體葛藤。」

"Tripitaka Master Bhadra asked Dharma Master Sheng, 'What is the meaning of form and emptiness?' Dharma Master Sheng said, 'The gathering of minute particles makes form; the minute particles having no self-nature is emptiness.' He asked again, 'When the minute particles have not yet gathered, what is it called?'" Replacing [the original words], he said, "An entangling vine of the substance."
