「僧問五洩：『何物大於天地？』師云：『無人識得伊。』『還可雕琢否？』師云：『爾試下手看？』」代云：「放過即不可。」

"A monk asked Wuxie, 'What thing is greater than heaven and earth?' The Master said, 'No one recognizes it.' 'Can it still be carved and polished?' The Master said, 'Try setting your hand to it and see.'" Replacing [the original words], he said, "Letting it pass is unacceptable."
