「僧問魯祖：『如何是言不言？』師云：『汝口在什麼處？』云：『無口。』師云：『將什麼問？』」代云：「只為不會。」

"A monk asked Luzu, 'What is speaking without words?' The Master said, 'Where is your mouth?' He said, 'I have no mouth.' The Master said, 'What do you use to ask?'" Replacing [the original words], he said, "Only because he did not understand."
