藥山手中書佛字，問道吾：「是什麼字？」吾云：「佛字。」山云：「這多口阿師。」

Yaoshan wrote the character 'Buddha' in his hand and asked Daowu, "What character is this?"
Daowu said, "The character 'Buddha.'"
Yaoshan said, "This talkative fellow!"
