「老宿註《金剛經》，演教大師問：『若以色見我，以音聲求我，是人行邪道，不能見如來，作麼生註？』」代云：「只恁註。」
"An elder was annotating the *Diamond Sūtra*; Great Master Yanjiao asked: '"If one sees me through forms, or seeks me through sounds, this person travels a false path and cannot see the Tathāgata"; how do you annotate this?'" Replacing [the elder's words], he said: "Just annotate it like that."
