每因無事侍師前，師指繩床角上懸，舉放却歸本位立，分明一喝至今傳。

"Often, having nothing to do, he attended before the master; / The master pointed to what hung on the corner of the rope seat. / Raising it and setting it down, he returned to stand in his original place; / Clearly a single shout is transmitted down to the present."
