同人直示問同袍，舉過分明驗的毛，說理妄陳狂浪動，幻花糊眼不能蘇。

Directly indicating to a colleague, he questioned his fellow monk; / Pointing out the fault clearly, he tested the exact mark. / Speaking of principle, he vainly set forth wild, raging waves; / Illusory flowers blinded his eyes, and he could not revive.
