我有牧童兒，身心如鐵石，不依諸佛言，不取世人則。吹笛上高山，把鞭牛上槭廻，首笑呵呵，大地無人識。

I have a cowherd boy / Whose body and mind are like iron and stone. / Not relying on the words of the buddhas, / Not adopting the rules of worldly people. / Blowing a flute, he climbs the high mountain; / Holding a whip, he urges the ox. Turning his head, / He laughs heartily; / On the great earth, no one recognizes him.
