上堂，云：「聖凡情盡，體露真常。」拈起拂子云：「拂子𨁝跳，上三十三天，扭脫帝釋鼻孔。驢脣先生，拊掌大笑道：盡十方世界，覓箇識好惡底人，萬中無一。」擊禪床一下。

Ascending the hall, he said: "When feelings of sacred and ordinary are exhausted, the essence reveals the true and constant." Raising his fly-whisk, he said: "The fly-whisk leaps up to Trāyastriṃśa and twists off the nostrils of Śakra. Master Donkey-Lips claps his hands and laughs aloud, saying: 'Throughout the worlds of the ten directions, search for a person who recognizes good and bad, and there is not one in ten thousand.'" He struck the Chan seat once.
