舉：「僧問大覺和尚：『忽來忽去時如何？』覺云：『風吹柳絮毛毬走。』進云：『不來不去時如何？』覺云：『華嶽三峯頭指天。』」師云：「大覺祇解箭鋒相拄，理事相投，殊不知趁得老鼠，打破油甕。」

He cited: "A monk asked Venerable Dajue: 'What is it like when suddenly coming and suddenly going?' Dajue said: 'The wind blows the willow catkins, and the balls of down roll.' The monk continued: 'What is it like when neither coming nor going?' Dajue said: 'The three peaks of Mount Hua point their heads to heaven.'" The Master said: "Dajue only understood arrowheads meeting each other, principle and phenomena fitting together; he did not realize that while chasing the rat, he smashed the oil jar."
