僧問：「一不去，二不住，請師道。」師云：「高祖殿前樊噲怒。」云：「與麼則今日得遇和尚也。」師云：「仰面看天不見天。」云：「若然者，學人禮謝。」師云：「更待何時。」（已上，並出《聯燈》）

A monk asked: “One does not depart, and two does not abide; please, Master, speak.” The Master said: “Fan Kuai's fury before Emperor Gaozu's hall.” The monk said: “If so, then today I have encountered the venerable monk.” The Master said: “Looking up at the sky, one does not see the sky.” The monk said: “If that is so, the student bows in gratitude.” The Master said: “What further time are you waiting for?” (The above all come from the Liandeng [lu].)
