時人心地長蒿蕪，受報因茲錯道塗，舉世不論僧洎俗，
要須言行與相符。

The mind-ground of worldly people is overgrown with weeds and brambles;
Receiving retribution because of this, they go astray on the path.
Throughout the world, whether monk or layperson,
It is essential that words and deeds correspond with each other.
