上堂云：「春氣乍寒乍暖，春雲或卷或舒，引得韶陽老子，放出針眼裏魚。」乃云：「錯。」

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "The spring air is now cold, now warm; the spring clouds now roll up, now unfold; / Inducing the old fellow of Shaoyang to let loose the fish in the eye of a needle." Then he said: "Wrong."
