冬至上堂云：「少年天子此日拜郊，林泉之士遠望歌謠，萬歲萬歲。」便下座。
Ascending the hall on the Winter Solstice, he said: "On this day the young Son of Heaven offers worship at the suburban altar; men of the forests and streams gaze from afar, singing ballads: Ten thousand years! Ten thousand years!" He then stepped down from the seat.
