2.81

上堂云：「釋迦已滅彌勒未生，森羅萬象推向一邊，且作麼生是爾諸人常住法身？」乃云：「有功無功，莫使腹空。」

Ascending the hall, he said, "Śākyamuni has already passed into extinction, and Maitreya is not yet born; push all phenomena of the universe aside—now, what is your permanently abiding Dharmakāya?" He then said, "Merit or no merit, do not leave the belly empty."
