因齋上堂云：「二月中春物象鮮，盡塵沙界一般天，蒼莓雨洗去冬雪，野火風飄昨夜烟。危嶺乍聞猿嘯日，長江時見客乘船，人生幾度逢斯景，好是誠心種福田。」

Ascending the hall on the occasion of a vegetarian feast, he said: / "In the middle of the second month of spring, the phenomena of nature are fresh; / Across worlds numerous as dust and sand, it is the same sky. / Dark moss washed by rain washes away the snow of last winter; / Wild fires stirred by the wind drift the smoke of last night. / On perilous peaks one suddenly hears apes howling at the sun; / Along the Long River one occasionally sees travelers boarding boats. / How many times in a lifetime does one meet such scenes? / It is best with a sincere heart to plant the field of merit."
