上堂云：「時人住處我不住，時人行處我不行，畢竟作麼生？牛角長三寸，兔角長八尺，四溟東海流，般若波羅蜜。」

Ascending the hall, he said: "Where people of the times dwell, I do not dwell; where people of the times walk, I do not walk. Ultimately, what is it like? An ox's horn is three inches long; a rabbit's horn is eight feet long. The four seas flow into the eastern sea; prajñāpāramitā."
