上堂云：「仲冬嚴寒普遍世間，富貴即易貧窮即難，唯我林泉之人無易無難。為什麼如此？」良久云：「無人處向儞說。」

Ascending the hall, the Master said: “The severe cold of midwinter pervades the world; wealth and nobility find it easy, poverty finds it hard. Only we people of the forests and springs have neither easy nor hard. Why is it like this?” After a long pause, he said: “Where there is no one, I will speak to you.”
