問僧：「甚處來？」僧云：「和尚問誰？」師云：「我問爾。」僧云：「何不領話。」師云：「翠峯今日敗闕。」

He asked a monk, "Where have you come from?" The monk said, "Whom is the Upādhyāya asking?" The Master said, "I am asking you." The monk said, "Why do you not take in what was said?" The Master said, "Cuifeng has suffered defeat today."
