上堂云：「泡幻同無礙。」拈起拄杖云：「泡幻何處得來？」又擊一下云：「西天四七聖，東土二三祖，鼻孔眼睛總穿在者裏，瞌睡漢歸堂。」

Ascending the hall, he said: "'Bubbles and phantoms are equally without obstruction.'" Raising his staff, he said: "From where do bubbles and phantoms come?" Striking [the seat] once more, he said: "The four times seven sages of the Western Heavens and the two times three patriarchs of the Eastern Land have had their nostrils and eyes completely pierced through here. Sleepy fellows, return to the hall!"
