示眾云：「迴而更相涉。」拈起拄杖云：「頭上是天，脚下是地，眼前綠水，背靠青山，衲僧道我會也，忽若騎驢入爾鼻孔裏，牽牛入爾眼睛中，又作麼生商量？」

Instructing the assembly, he said, "'Turning around, they interpenetrate.'" Holding up his staff, he said, "Above the head is heaven; beneath the feet is earth. Before your eyes is green water; behind your back rest blue mountains. A patch-robed monk says, 'I understand.' If suddenly someone rides a donkey into your nostrils and leads an ox into your eyes, how then will you deliberate?"
