上堂云：「乾坤側，日月星辰一時黑，東西不辯南北不分底衲僧，向甚處見雪竇？」

Ascending the hall, he said: "Heaven and earth tilt, and the sun, moon, and stars all turn dark at once; patch-robed monks who cannot tell east from west or distinguish south from north—where do you see Xuedou?"
