3.75

舉：「僧問保福：『雪峯平生有何言句，得以𦏰羊挂角？』時福云：『我不可作雪峯弟子不得。』」師云：「一千五百箇布衲，保福較些些子。」

[The Master] cited: "A monk asked Baofu, 'What words did Xuefeng utter in his lifetime that enabled the ram to hang by its horns?' Baofu said at that time, 'It is impossible that I not be Xuefeng's disciple.'" The Master said, "Among fifteen hundred patch-robed monks, Baofu was somewhat better."
