問投子：「定慧等學，明見佛性，此理如何？」投子云：「打水用桶，舀粥用杓。」代云：「爭得不問。」

Someone asked Touzi, "'Studying concentration and wisdom equally, one clearly sees the Buddha-nature'—what is this principle?" Touzi said, "To draw water, use a bucket; to ladle gruel, use a spoon." On his behalf [the Master] said, "How could one not ask?"
