玄沙見孚上座，便云：「新到相看。」孚云：「已相見了也。」沙云：「什麼劫中曾相見來？」孚云：「莫瞌睡。」別云：「這賊敗也。」

Xuansha saw Head Monk Fu and immediately said, "A newcomer to look upon." Fu said, "We have already seen each other." Xuansha said, "In what kalpa did we once meet?" Fu said, "Do not doze off." In an alternative [the Master] said, "This thief is defeated!"
