雲門問僧：「近離甚處？」云：「新羅。」門云：「將甚麼過海？」云：「草賊大敗。」門云：「儞為什麼在我手裏？」僧云：「恰是。」別云：「噓噓。」

Yunmen asked a monk, "Where did you leave recently?" He replied, "Silla." Yunmen said, "What did you cross the sea with?" He replied, "The petty bandits were utterly defeated." Yunmen said, "Why are you in my hands?" The monk said, "Just so." Alternatively: "Shoo, shoo!"
