或云：「五千四十八卷，止啼之說；如今啼止也，還我黃葉來。」代云：「事不孤起。」

Or he would say: "The five thousand and forty-eight fascicles are teachings to stop crying. Now that crying has stopped, give me back my yellow leaves!" Speaking on their behalf, he said: "Things do not arise alone."
