有時云：「三世諸佛說夢，六代祖師說夢，翠峯今日說夢，還有夢見底麼？」代云：「掀倒禪床。」

At times he would say: "The Buddhas of the three periods speak of dreams; the patriarchs of the six generations speak of dreams; today Cuifeng speaks of dreams. Is there anyone who dreams of it?" Speaking on their behalf, he said: "Overturning the meditation bench."
