或云：「洞庭湖水一吸淨盡，魚鼈向甚處藏身？」代云：「咦。」又云：「喝下承當，崖州萬里；棒頭薦得，別有條章。作麼生是衲僧本分？」代云：「惡。」

Or he would say: "When the waters of Lake Dongting are sucked dry in a single gulp, where will the fish and turtles conceal themselves?" Speaking on their behalf, he said: "Bah!"
