4.95

因僧朝見，帝問：「甚處來？」云：「臥雲來。」帝曰：「朕聞臥雲深處不朝天，為什麼却到這裏？」代云：「難逃至化。」

Because a monk had an imperial audience, the emperor asked, "Where do you come from?" He said, "I come from Sleeping Clouds [Woyun]." The emperor said, "We have heard that deep in Sleeping Clouds, one does not pay court to Heaven; why then have you come here?" On his behalf [the Master] said, "It is hard to escape the ultimate transformation."
