品彙不自適，善政還可尋，縣樓清夜上，島月思雲侵，
誰有古菱華，照此真宰心。

All classes of things are not at ease with themselves,
Yet benevolent governance may still be sought.
Ascending the county tower in the clear night,
Island moon and reflective thoughts invade the clouds.
Who has the ancient water-chestnut mirror
To illuminate the mind of this true creator?
