舉法衣云：「古人事不獲已，掛弊垢衣，如今推免不下，入這群隊去也。大庾嶺頭藏不得，如今也要大家知。」指法座云：「盡十方都是箇寶華王座，長在裏許，又何須特地？車不橫推，理不曲斷。」

Holding up the Dharma robe, he said: 'The ancients could not help but hang up worn, soiled robes. Now I cannot push this away; I must enter this herd. It could not be hidden on the Dayu Ridge; now I also must let everyone know.' Pointing to the Dharma seat, he said: 'Throughout the ten directions, all is the jewel flower throne of the King; dwelling constantly within it, why make a special effort? A cart is not pushed sideways; principle is not judged crookedly.'
