18.24

舉：「僧問石鞏：『生死到來如何回避？』鞏云：『這的無生死。』」師拈云：「還識這的麼？俊鶻捎空去，懵鳥泊籬頭。」

He cited: "A monk asked Shigong, 'When birth and death arrive, how can one avoid them?' Shigong said, 'Here there is no birth and death.'" The Master commented: "Do you recognize this? / The swift falcon darts through the sky; / The foolish bird perches on the hedge top."
