18.36

生耶死耶，築著磕著，不道不道，藏頭露角，黃金靈骨鏗鏘，白浪滔天卓犖。殷勤為語透關人，萬里孤光長爍爍，無摸索，趙州石橋成略彴。

"Alive or dead? / Striking against it, bumping into it. / 'I will not say, I will not say!' / Hiding the head and revealing the horns. / The golden sacred bones ring clear; / White waves surging to the heavens are transcendent and lofty. / Attentively I speak to the person who has penetrated the barrier: / Across ten thousand miles, the solitary light shines ever radiant. / Nothing to grope for: / Zhaozhou's stone bridge becomes a single-plank bridge."
