18.41

舉：「僧問雲門：『佛法如水中月是不？』門云：『清波無透路。』僧云：『和尚從何得？』門云：『再問復何來？』僧云：『更恁麼去時如何？』門云：『重疊關山路。』」

Case: A monk asked Yunmen, "Is the Buddhadharma like the moon in the water, or not?" Yunmen said, "Through clear waves there is no path of passage." The monk said, "Where did the Venerable obtain this?" Yunmen said, "Asked once more, where does it come from again?" The monk said, "What about when one goes on like this?" Yunmen said, "Tier upon tier of mountain passes and roads."
