18.64

千年田，八百主，誰當機，辨來處。趙州要答話，拋塼引墼子，覺老話端倪，如拜將相似。去得去不得，言下分緇素，箇裏高於萬仞峯，不動纖毫擒佛祖。崇寧効古所作，答話去也。或有箇出來，只向伊道：「了。」

A thousand-year-old field, eight hundred owners; / who, matching the dynamic, / discerns where it comes from? / Zhaozhou wants to answer questions; / he casts a brick and draws an unbaked tile. / Old Jue speaks of the clue: / it is just like appointing a commander. / Able to go, unable to go: / under the words, black and white are distinguished. / In here, higher than a peak of ten thousand fathoms, / without stirring a hair's breadth, he captures Buddhas and Patriarchs. / Chongning, following the ancient example, is going to answer questions. If someone comes forward, I will simply say to him: "Finished."
