夜明簾外千峯秀，鸞鏡臺前萬象虛，掃蹤滅跡，不立錙銖，唯為佛殿，唯是香厨，敲出鳳凰五色髓，擊碎驪龍明月珠。

Beyond the night-shining screen, a thousand peaks stand fine; / Before the luan-mirror stand, the myriad forms are empty. / Sweeping away tracks and obliterating traces, / Not a scruple is set up. / Merely the Buddha shrine, / Merely the fragrant kitchen— / Knocking out the phoenix's five-coloured marrow, / Smashing the black dragon's bright-moon pearl.
