19.78

魚行水濁，鳥飛毛落，至鑑難逃，太虛寥廓。一往迢迢五百生，只緣因果大修行，疾雷破山風振海，百煉精金色不改。

When fish swim, the water turns turbid; / When birds fly, feathers fall. / Difficult to evade the supreme mirror; / The great void is vast and desolate. / A single departure, far away for five hundred lives, / All because of cause and effect and great cultivation. / Sudden thunder shatters the mountain, and wind shakes the ocean; / Refined a hundred times, pure gold does not change its colour.
